老鼠检测系统(鼠笼智慧监测)

解决方案描述

This solution installs a compact tilt sensor and a wireless communication module on a traditional rat trap. When a rat enters the trap and triggers the mechanism, the trap door closes, causing the trap to tilt or vibrate. The sensor detects the change in tilt angle or impact and immediately uploads a "captured" signal to the cloud or a mobile app via 4G/LoRa. Cleaning staff no longer need to inspect hundreds of traps one by one; they only respond when notified, significantly saving labour costs and collection time, and improving the efficiency of vector control.

Traditional inspection practice relies on cleaning staff making regular rounds (e.g., daily or once every two days) to inspect each trap individually for any captured rats. Since capture rates are typically low, inspectors spend a lot of efforts checking empty traps – making the process highly inefficient.

More critically, if a captured rat is not discovered in time, it may die and decompose in the trap, producing foul odours and breeding bacteria, which in turn creates environmental hygiene problems. This solution installs a miniature tilt sensor and a wireless communication module (LoRa / NB‑IoT / 4G) on a traditional rat trap. When a rat enters the trap and triggers the mechanism, the trap door closes, generating an instantaneous impact and change in tilt angle (with the rat's struggles also producing continuous vibration signals). The sensor detects these physical changes in real time and transmits a "captured" signal via gateway to the cloud platform or a mobile app. Cleaning staff simply check the mobile map to see at a glance which traps have caught rats and proceed directly to those locations, substantially reducing unnecessary inspection rounds.

At the same time, the system records the time, location, and count of each capture, automatically generating rodent activity heatmaps to help health authorities identify black spots for targeted baiting and enhanced control measures.

Benefits:

Significant manpower savings: Cleaning staff no longer need to inspect empty traps one by one, improving inspection efficiency by approximately 80%. The freed‑up manpower can be redeployed to other public health tasks such as back‑alley cleaning and refuse collection;

Improved environmental hygiene: Captured rats can be collected and disposed of promptly, preventing decomposition and odours, reducing fly and mosquito breeding, lowering disease transmission risks, and enhancing community living quality; and

Enhanced public satisfaction: Transparent data reports allow management units to demonstrate control effectiveness to residents, building public confidence in hygiene management while reducing rodent‑related complaints
