The proposed project aims to produce virtual tours for 12 items of Hong Kong heritage sites using 3D technology. Historical photos, information, aerial photos, 3D models of special architectural / archaeological features, videos and audio guides, as well as hyper links to related sites will be embedded in the virtual tours. The end product will be uploaded to the website of the Antiquities and Monuments Office (AMO) of Development Bureau for public viewing through PC or mobile devices. Animations generated by historic photographs and 3D models will be included in the virtual tours.
