Business Needs / Challenges
With the increasing adoption of digital services to support both internal and external operations within department, a large number of customised documents and forms (e.g. receipts, posting forms, order lists, transaction histories, business analytics reports, etc.) are generated by in-house developed information systems to facilitate daily operations.In this connection, an open source solution, i.e. JasperReports Library was adopted, along with related products such as Jaspersoft Studio and JasperReports Server, to facilitate report generation. However, as official support for Jaspersoft Studio and JasperReports Server is no longer available, we have been exploring alternative solutions, which should be either compatible with JasperReports Library or other solutions that adopt cutting-edge technology to enhance the efficiency and capabilities of e-services.
