Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) involves a number of processes, inter alia, the compilation of EIA report. The preparation of the report involves the participation of number of stakeholders including project proponents, consultants engaged and relevant departments. We aim at adopting blockchain technology to explore the possibility of streamlining the compilation of EIA report with a view to enhancing its immutability, auditability, automation on collaboration and distributed storage.
