Edge AIoT for smart urbanisation and sustainbilities
Anlyvis’s solution is an Edge AIoT Platform‑as‑a‑Service that combines hardware gateways, AI video analytics, data services and a management console into one scalable stack. It is hardware‑agnostic and can connect to IP/CCTV cameras, smart lampposts and other IoT endpoints, processing video and sensor data directly on edge devices rather than streaming everything to the cloud. At the core, pre‑trained and custom computer‑vision models perform object detection, vehicle and people recognition, queue and crowd analytics, intrusion and safety‑zone monitoring, and rule‑based event detection in real time. Edge nodes send only anonymised events, metrics and snapshots to dashboards or existing ITS / command systems. A no‑code configuration interface allows users and contractors to define zones, rules and alerts without writing code.

Anlyvis Limited’s Edge AIoT platform can help and deliver safer, smoother and more efficient public services in traffic management and worksite/public-space safety, while lowering long‑term operating costs through automation and data‑driven planning.Use case in public services - Smart traffic and mobility: Edge AI cameras and sensors at junctions, tunnels and black spots can detect congestion, queues, accidents, lane blockages and illegal stopping in real time, feeding data to Traffic Detectors, Smart Traffic Management System and control rooms. - Worksite and infrastructure safety: Edge AI video analytics on construction sites, roadworks and depots can detect workers in danger zones, unsafe crane operations, missing PPE and near‑miss incidents, helping regulators and works departments reduce accidents without adding manpower. - Event and crowd management: People/vehicle counting and heatmaps in public transport interchanges, complexes and promenades support better design of pedestrian flow, queuing and event management. How the solution improves public services - Faster, more proactive operations: Edge AI processes video locally within milliseconds, enabling immediate alerts and dynamic control (e.g. signal timing changes) instead of relying on manual CCTV review or slow batch analysis. - Higher service reliability and safety: Automated 24/7 detection reduces missed incidents and supports goals to cut traffic accidents and improve public road safety highlighted in Hong Kong’s smart mobility agenda. - Better policy and planning: Continuous, high‑resolution traffic and safety data improves planning of junction upgrades, bus priority, enforcement zones and maintenance, strengthening the data‑driven transport and urban‑planning strategy. - Privacy by design: Processing on the edge device and sending only anonymised events/metrics reduces personal‑data exposure versus full‑stream cloud processing, aligning with responsible AI and privacy expectations for public sector systems.
