We expect the Electronic Ticketing and Event Management Integrated Service Platform to provide the following functionalities in order to realise the goals of paperless ticketing and using e-tickets for event admission:- Purchase tickets online through a mobile application/website;
- Support multiple payment methods or the use of discount coupons for ticket purchases;
- Upon completion of a successful order, the system will generate and send a QR code ticket to the customer;
- Depending on the type of event, check-in can be made by scanning the e-ticket with a scanner or through redemption of tickets at kiosks/ terminals/ on-site support staff;
- e-ticket transfer function to allow gifting event tickets to others, enabling event organisers to allocate tickets to specific groups, thereby eliminating the complex process of converting electronic tickets into paper tickets for distribution; and
- Facilitate the implementation of electronic vouchers or customer rewards programme provided by exhibitors, where customers can scan QR codes to receive and redeem rewards.
In addition to the above functions, we also hope to utilise the system to manage ticket inventory, improve operational efficiency through data analysis, reporting, and dashboards, and enhance the experience for exhibitors and customers.
Other event management applications include:
- Online reservations, providing options for reserving time slots and setting quota limits;
- Process applications for awards, supporting multiple awards categories and upload of documents or materials in various formats such as zip, pdf or jpeg and able to store large files;
- Event registration, supporting a large number of online applications and able to handle high traffic loads; and
- RSVP event registration with features including event invitation and registration, pre-event notification, QR code verification, check-in, etc.
